I must say I love Fitwize for their programs aimed at helping children understand more about nutrition. I think this program is great.

My daughter, Alexandra is 10 years old. Before Fitwize, Alexandra did very little exercise. She just was not motivated. She would come home from school eat dinner, play with her sister, and watch T.V.

I decided one day to tell Alexandra about Fitwize. She was against going; she said no,no,no. I told her to give it a chance, if you don’t like it, then I will never ask you again.

Alexandra agreed and was not happy about it at all. When we first walked into Fitwize, Alexandra’s eyes grew with excitement. When it was time to go Alexandra did not want to leave. She asked right then and there “ please let me join” and of course I had no objections
.
In the first week, I have noticed a change in Alexandra. She’s more energetic. She’s happier, more then happily willing to help around the house and her homework is done. Alexandra wants to be at Fitwize every day. The first thing she was happy about accomplishing was sit ups before Fitwize, Alexandra could hardly do 10 at once. After a week she does 25 with no problem, and when she comes home to show her DAD. We are so proud of Alexandra and we thank Fitwize for giving Alexandra back her spunk.

Everyone knows that when we dream something to come true and it does (as in Fitwize) it is in the beginning surreal and overwhelming! And, it can get to be a real bear sometimes and sometimes it can be a bear ALL THE TIME! And, when that happens we tend to lose site of our original dreams and thoughts.

So, this is to give you a sit back and enjoy moment from a mom that believes in what you are doing and to give you a mental strength moment.

When Peter had his 11 year old yearly exam (January of ’06) his doctor was worried about his weight because although he had grown the normal 2 inches on his height he had also gained 11 pounds in one year. That is when he told me that he wanted to see him not lose weight but maintain his weight while his height would continue. And, at the most he only wanted him to gain 2 pounds during the whole year. I thought this was truly an impossibility!

In April of last year I brought him to you and Fitwize with the hopes that this would be an answer for him not to continue his large weight gain.

Last Friday, I took Peter in for his 12 year old yearly exam he grew 3 inches in his height and ONLY GAINED 2 POUNDS the whole year! When the doctor asked how we did it, I said Fitwize. He is more aware of what he eats, and, he enjoys going to workout! The doctor could not be more happy with the results. And, Peter is very proud of himself. Kids tend to lose that these days. Self confidence gets driven in another direction.

So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my son a place that he can call his own for his health and helping us as parents to make him more aware of what choices he has for foods.

My daughter Alexis has been a member of Fitwize for almost nine months and absolutely loves it. She has learned to love the idea that exercise is good for her body and health. She has learned the importance of being responsible for your own body and what you do or don't do for it. She has learned the importance of using equipment properly and taking your time with the workout so you don't hurt yourself.

She loves attending Fitwize regularly and misses it when she is unable to attend. She loves working with the friendly and outgoing staff who are always ready to motivate her. She absolutely loves the Kids Night Outs. Fitwize has made exercising fun for her. She has also learned valuable health and nutrition information which I hope that she will carry with her throughout her life. She has learned to be a better eater and make better choices.
I think that Fitwize helps to build life long skills for kids who otherwise may never get those skills and go on to be overweight and/or yoyo dieters their whole lives. This is something they do not learn at school.

Overall Alexis has had a most positive experience with Fitwize and we intend on keeping our memership for a long time to come.

I would like you to know that I have gone to Fitwize 4 Kids for around 3 months and just LOVED it! I go at least 4 times a week! I think this is an awesome program! I go to the gym located in Leland, North Carolina!

Another Fantastic Success Story from a Happy Fitwize Mom!!!

I would like to tell you something about my daughter, Brittany. She started going to Fitwize 4 Kids on December 1, 2006; the day it opened and from then on that’s all she wants to do. She gets up in the morning and the first she says is “I want to go to the gym”. She looks great and has lost 6 pounds already. She is eating healthy; fruits and vegetables. I can’t say enough about the gym. Everyone there is great. Jeff and his wife are definitely doing a great job. Opening the Fitwize 4 Kids was a great idea! Also the staff is wonderful, especially Ashley. Thanks to all of you, my daughter has a positive attitude.
