Fitwize 4 Kids Nutrition Classes

Our goal at Fitwize 4 Kids is to empower families to make good food choices that last a lifetime. To achieve this goal, we developed an innovative program that encourages family members to work together in order to accomplish their nutrition and exercise goals.

Our nutrition program includes classes for children and parents, which are taught by a registered dietitian. Families will learn about basic nutrition concepts and how to employ positive eating habits through hands-on activities that include cooking and food demonstrations. Participants are provided with packets that include program support materials, additional resources and home activities.

Fitwize 4 Kids is dedicated to supporting families in creating a healthy eating home. Both members and non-members are encouraged to participate in our nutrition program.

Programs and Events- Free Monthly Nutrition Workshops

1. We offer free monthly nutrition workshops for our members and parents which are taught by a Registered Dietitian. Our 30 minute workshops include plenty of activities and games. We discuss a variety of topics, such as sports nutrition, healthy eating out, basic cooking lessons and more! We provide plenty of opportunities for kids to earn Fitwize bucks too!

2. Parents can stay afterward to participate in a round table discussion with our Registered Dietitian! Get tips and advice on creating a healthy eating home for your family!

Programs and Events- Nutrition Orientation for Parents

Parents can come to our FREE Nutrition Orientation for Parents to learn how to follow the Fitwize formula for a healthy family. A nutrition handbook, fun activities and demonstrations are included!
