About the Owner

Sam Schmidt was born and raised in Schaumburg, Illinois and has lived here for nearly 30 years. He values the close knit community and strong family ties that make Schaumburg and surrounding area such a great place to raise children. Sam, a single father and his daughter have been active members of Fitwize 4 Kids ever since learning about it during a community event in 2006.

It didn’t take much to convince Sam that Fitwize 4 Kids is a great concept. Now, he brings his experience in running small to mid-range businesses and his professional background in planning and implementing before-and-after school programs for children grades K-6 to Schaumburg’s first Healthy Lifestyle Center just for kids!

Sam has owned and operated a mergers and acquisitions company for the past 3 years and he has worked with the Schaumburg Park District and Schaumburg School District 54 to facilitate a safe and fun after school program for the community.

Sam is very excited about the opportunity that Fitwize 4 Kids brings to continuing his outreach to families in the community and he looks forward to expanding his operations throughout the Chicago land area, bringing once again a safe and beneficial outlet for children throughout the suburbs.

After being the #1 NFL draft choice in 1980, Otis Wilson went on to become a Super Bowl Champion and Pro-Bowl athlete with the Chicago Bears. In addition to a successful career and several rewarding business ventures, Wilson has donated his time to public service and helping raise awareness and thousands of dollars for various charities.   Otis is also the founder of The Otis Wilson Foundation, a non-profit organization that has collaborated with community leaders in the area of nutrition, health and fitness to create an all-inclusive program that instills the desire and energy in children to live active and healthy lifestyles. The Foundation currently has established programs in schools around the Chicago area that focus on developing a healthy and fit lifestyle for children.
