Summer Tumbling/Stunt & Cheer Camps


2019 Summer Camp Information

Fitwize offers full-day tumbling & stunt camps, as well as a cheer camp from 9am-4pm throughout the summer. Information about each camp is below, or refer to our camp schedule for dates and times.

Full-Day Cheer Camps earlybird

Wk1

Rising 2nd graders and up will spend time at four stations; two tumbling, a routine station where the athletes will work on stunting, pyramid building and putting together a cheerleading routine, and a fitness station. Fridays will be our “SUPER STAR” days where staff will perform a Staff Demo Routine and the athletes will get to show their parents and loved ones a cheer routine. Camp will be staffed by high school cheerleaders and directed by Coaches Jason and Camron. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and participation certificates, and some campers will be awarded a specialty spirit award. Camp will be held from 9am-4pm.

Full-Day Tumble & Stunt Combo Camps earlybird

We combine our popular tumbling and stunting skills to make a full-day of excitement. Rising 1st graders and up will improve upon their overall tumbling skills as we emphasize and work on flexibility, technique and safe skill progression. Athletes will be broken into groups by skill level, and will rotate through a series of challenging drills, stations and exercises. High intensity, high repetition tumbling circuit with multiple spotters assisting athletes on more advanced skills will assist campers to master handstands, forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, front and back walkovers, round-offs, back handsprings, depending on the athlete’s assessed ability level. Athletes will also rotate through different stunting and fitness stations and drills to learn stunting and pyramid building while we cover the importance of safety and proper technique. We’ll review the latest stunt intros, dismounts, transitions and stunt sequencing with bases and flyers.

Cheer High (offered June 10-July 15, 8-10pm)reg
High School athletes are invited to join us this summer in our Cheer High session. This class is for current and rising High School Cheerleaders looking to advance their skills. Class will focus on stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions and conditioning.

High School Boot Camp (offered July 18-22, 8-10pm)reg
High school athletes are invited to join us this summer (registration opens 4/1) for our High School Boot Camp. This class is for current and rising High School Cheerleaders preparing for their upcoming try-outs. Focus is on tumbling, stunting, jumps and conditioning, and a mock try-out will be performed on the last day of camp.
