Nick Pommier Chief Operating Officer Over the last 15 years, Nick Pommier has worked with kids from the ages of 3 to 83 teaching the art of Shaolin Kempo. In 1995, Nick moved to Northern California from Orange County to attend the University of California at Berkeley, focusing on “Political Economies of Industrial Societies”, while continuing his study of the martial arts. Nick’s love for sharing martial arts with others inspired him to open his own martial arts school in San Anselmo. Another school in San Rafael shortly followed and for more than 10 years, over 500 students continue to flourish in their own unique abilities under the programs designed and implemented by Sensei Nick. Nick traveled frequently to the birthplace of all martial arts, the Shaolin Temple in China, where in 2000 he was made a Disciple of the Temple. In 2002, Nick achieved the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt in the art of Shaolin Kempo and continued to inspire his students in his dedication to achieving one’s personal best. In 2006, Nick decided to sell his martial arts schools to his students and took a year-long world-wide sabbatical. Returning to Marin County with renewed spirit and enthusiasm, as well as a continued desire to serve the children and families of Marin, Nick joined the Fitwize 4 Kids team as the National Franchise Support Manager. The philosophy and innovative programs provided by FitWize 4 Kids so impressed Nick on a business and personal level that he decided to open his own studio with his partner, Stephanie. Together they strive to play a positive role in the community of Marin, supporting healthy lifestyles and healthy families, one child at a time. |
