Jim Jarvis, M.S. Director of Franchise Support and Program Development Jim brings years of experience in corporate fitness and health program development to Fitwize 4 Kids.
For the past 3 1/2 years, Jim was the Wellness Coordinator for the Santa Rosa Police Department, implementing fitness and nutrition related programs within the force. Prior professional roles include being a Personal Fitness Trainer to athletes and baby-boomers as well as a preventative services provider to corporate accounts such as Applied Materials and SUN Microsystems and professional sports organizations such as the Oakland Raiders and the San Jose Sharks.
Jim understands the needs of clients and he is proven at building strong and lasting relationships, and has demonstrated the ability to motivate others. He is passionate about healthy lifestyle improvement and realizes this begins with our youth. In his role as Program Development Manager, he will assist our owners to implementing company wide programs, build their businesses and connect with their communities.
Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Wellness Management. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Instructor
On a more personal note, he has completed four marathons, he conquered a metric century on the bike, and recently completed the Alcatraz Island to San Francisco swim. He has his eye on the Tempe, Arizona Ironman Triathlon later this year. Jim shares his enthusiasm for wellness and fitness with everyone he meets.
